Here, you can meet all the horses which live and work at Stepney Bank Stables.

Pepper
Is a 14.2hh black mare. She is great for beginners and experienced riders. Pepper is a fun mare who is unflappable in any situation. Pepper has been with for some time and starred in the TV program ‘The Stables.’
Maggie
Is a beautiful 15.2hh piebald mare who is calm and sensitive. She has impeccable manners when being ridden. Maggie is a five star horse and is the pride of Stepney. She is push button to jump and can work laterally.
Dodger
Is a stunning 14.2hh bay cob. He has balanced paces and is the perfect horse to improve your canter work. Dodger has a soft mouth and doesn't pull. Giving his riders every chance to develop a soft balanced seat. He is a fantastic, steady jumper and work laterally.
Dodger is well known for letting himself out of the stable and into the feed house a skill he has mastered so well we have to put a special lock on the door!
Solomon
Is a 15hh skewbald cob. He has a fantastic temperament and is obedient and willing. He is a joy to ride and very popular. Solomon has fantastic markings and conformation and wouldn't seem out of place in the show ring. He was bought for us by The Rotary Club to celebrate their Centenary year!
Rosie
Rosie has been with us the longest so is very popular. She is a pretty grey Shetland who has lots of energy. She has taught lots of children to ride and is the perfect pony for the big step of riding without a leader. Unfortunately is always on a permanent diet!
Carling
Is a chunky 14.2hh bay mare. Carling is a bright, intelligent mare who is learning fast. As she is quite young she can be very forward going so is better suited to more advanced riders with whom she is a great favorite. Just learning to jump.
Princess
Is a very attractive 15hh Skewbald mare. She is staring her work at Stepney so look out for her in lessons soon.
Olga
14hh bay cob mare who loves to be groomed. Olga is another new girl and is staring work now.
Angel
Is a 16hh black gelding who just gleams. Powerful and athletic he is a superb horse for teenage and adult riders. Forward going and keen.
Ebony
Is a charming 12hh dark bay mare. She is 100% perfect in every way. Ebony is gentle, kind and wise and is ideal for first time and nervous riders. Her nickname is “Princess” and she can do no wrong. Her favorite activity is pony games!
Zelf
Is a beautiful 12.2hh black mare. She has amazing paces and moves like a dressage pony. She once competed at Ponies UK. Zelf will bring out the best in your riding. She is very well schooled and can work at any level.
Auberry
Is a pretty 12hh strawberry roan pony. She is fun and loves games. Auberry is perfect to groom and cuddle. She can be quite strong when jumping but is perfect for any level rider on the flat.
Arlo
Is a 16hh gentle giant. He has just arrived at Stepney and is busy getting fit. He is keen and willing and a perfect size for adults and teenagers. At present he is so fat we are having to exercise him bareback but you can expect to see him in lessons as soon as he has slimed down.
Charlie Parsnip or CP
Is a14hh bay gelding all the way from Ireland. He is sporty and fun CP is polite and gentle with new riders and fast and exciting for more experienced riders. He is the nicest natured pony you will ever meet with an exceptional jump.
Florrie
Is a 14.2hh grey mare. Steady and kind for novice riders as well as forward going and responsive for experienced riders. Florrie is another Stepney star. As she is getting on abit we limit her to small jumps only but she always wants to jump higher and never wants to stop.
Sunny
Is an eye catching 13.2hh chestnut gelding. He has competed in dressage and show jumping. Sunny has lots he can teach you. He is a light weight pony capable of working at all levels with a good little jump and ability to work laterally.
Star
Is a pretty 11h.h,. Welsh type pony who is very forward going. She has lovely manners in and out of the stable with an exceptional jump for one so small.
Blue
A lovely little half Shetland pony who is very safe to walk, trot and canter on. We often take him to community events as he is so well behaved and loves the attention he gets when meeting new people! He is also very cheeky and can occasionally be a little lazy!
Bumble
Is a 13.2hh, skewbald mare on loan to the Stables. She is extremely popular because her generous nature makes her a joy to ride.” She jumps, rides and drives so is multi talented horse.
