the indoor arena

Stepney Bank Stables have first class facilities including a fabulous indoor arena which includes a 40m x 20m riding arena, upstairs viewing gallery, full disabled access, a gift shop, cafe, showers and toilet facilities.

The Stables successfully raised £914,000 from Sport England and The Ouseburn Partnership to build the indoor facility which was opened in 2002. Since then we have spent a further £405,000 from the European Development Fund extending this building and refurbishing our older yard.

The new center has enabled us to increase capacity and provide a more consistent programme as we are no longer subject to seasonal weather changes. It has also meant that we have been able to appeal to new audiences as we now have additional training, office and stabling spaces.
