charitable criteria
Priority Members are people who meet our charitable objectives and can therefore benefit from a subsidized rate and free Young Helpers Scheme. There are 5 criteria under which members can be deemed eligible.
- Persons who live within the boundaries in one of the top 15% deprived wards in the North East region.
- Persons who have a Council Leisure Plus Priority Card, this will also entitle any dependants living with them to be a Priority Member.
- Children in care or within 2 years of leaving care.
- Children who are referred’. SBS needs to identify the referrers, and those who are funded by an agency who would therefore be able to pay.
- Children from Thomas Bewick, Kenton Bar Special School or Trinity School.
